A small museum is about to get a big upgrade in Camarillo. The Pleasant Valley Historical Society’s nonprofit museum will nearly double in size after it completes a million-dollar expansion project.

Since it opened about 34 years ago, the museum has worked to preserve the history of Camarillo and the Pleasant Valley area. It's run by volunteers and admittance is free.
