From opulent mansions to hidden coastal gems, here’s how to soak up Newport’s history, charm and old-meets-new seaside style.

Guides will explain which scenes were filmed in each room, as well as the real people who lived in the mansions. Tours will be offered on Fridays beginning May 2, to June 27, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

In August and September, the Newport Mansions are offering an “Inside ‘The Gilded Age’ Tour” on select Fridays and Tuesdays. This takes visitors to key filming locations from the show.
