'Kids on Track' in Springfield offers youth a special train ride to connect railroading with STEM education. Over 125 kids participate in the inclusive experience.

Families and train enthusiasts will have a unique opportunity to ride the rails between Springfield and Hartford for just $5 round-trip during the “Kids ON TRACK” model railway weekend.

CTrail is teaming up with the Amherst Railway Society and Springfield Union Station for two “special roundtrip train rides between Springfield and Hartford,” according to a release.
