The National Weather Service issued a high surf advisory for all north-facing shores on Kauai and Niihau, in effect through 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 8. Surf is currently reaching 8 to 15 feet in range.

A separate high surf advisory is in place from noon today to 6 p.m. Tuesday for north- and west-facing shores of Kauai County and Oahu.
