All students at Golden High School northwest of Denver were released from class for the day on Monday morning.

Golden High School is currently on precautionary lockdown while police search the building after reports of a student with a firearm.

Anderson, who joined North after a long career at Golden High School, brought with him a few trusted "Golden Demons" — former players who now serve as assistant coaches for the Vikings.
