Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is getting a fifth terminal — with a groundbreaking set for Monday afternoon.

Work began Monday on a fifth terminal for Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, which is scheduled for completion in three years.

The new terminal at FLL is expected to cost $404 million, financed by airport bonds, Florida Transportation Department grants and passenger facility charges.
