Renegade, the 4-1 favorite for the 152nd running of the Kentucky Derby, will start in the first post position for the May 2 race that will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock.

The 152nd running of the $1.5 million, Grade 1 stakes race has an approximate post time of 8:40 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Churchill Downs.

Panel experts favored horses like Further Ado, Fulleffort and Chief Wallabee to perform well in the race.
