Kent State (3-5, 2-2 MAC) hosted Bowling Green (3-5, 1-3 MAC) on Saturday afternoon for their 93rd matchup in series history— one which saw the Flashes erase an early 21-3 deficit to win by a final score of 24-21.

Angel Flores scored on three short touchdown runs as Central Michigan defeated Bowling Green 27-6. This victory snaps a 10-game road losing streak in Mid-American Conference games.

Thursday’s exhibition opener was a rematch from last season when Michigan State won 86-72 in a November game that really counted. Bowling Green led by as many as 12 in the first half and the Spartans closed the game on an 18-0 run for a deceptive final score.
