Blizzard appears ready to take another stab at making a shooter game set in the StarCraft universe as new job listings begin to appear on its website.

Blizzard has a new game in the works and the job listings are going up. There are currently several listings on the company’s careers page with some of them noting the position would be working on an “upcoming open-world shooter game”,

Job listings at Blizzard have confirmed that the studio is working on an open-world shooter; could this be the rumoured StarCraft revival?

StarCraft shooter rumours have run rampant, and on Friday, Blizzard Entertainment posted a job listing that may have opened a new wave.

Blizzard is advertising job roles for an “upcoming open-world shooter game”. The job roles have been published following a report earlier this year that Blizzard was once again working on a StarCraft shooter.

A new job listing from Blizzard seems to indicate that the studio behind Warcraft and Overwatch might be working on an open-world shooter and based on past reports, it might be a Starcraft FPS led by a veteran Far Cry developer.
