Prince Harry turns 40 on Sept. 15 and plans to celebrate with wife Meghan Markle and kids Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet before heading off on a trip with close friends.

According to a new report, Kate Middleton may have been the "driving force" behind the birthday message shared on the official Prince and Princess of Wales' social accounts.

Prince Harry’s 40th birthday was marked by sweet wishes from Buckingham Palace, and sent the reconciliation rumors into overdrive. Kensington Palace also retweeted and added their own message for the Duke of Sussex,

While there have been reports that the royal family had to wish Prince Harry a happy 40th birthday whether it wanted to or not, a source shared that Kate Middleton didn't have to follow the edict and decided on her own to call her brother-in-law to celebrate his big day.

Prince Harry is currently in New York City for the United Nation’s Climate Week, but he’s still making time to check in with his family back home. On Monday, during an event honoring his later mother,

"It does seem to feel like there are voices emerging, on both sides of the Atlantic, that there is talk, at least the idea of, some sort of rapprochement."

Prince Harry received two messages on social media from members of the royal family on his 40th birthday and an insider said Princess Kate was behind the idea.
