Israel's military said it struck multiple targets linked to the Iran-aligned Houthi movement in Yemen on Thursday, including Sana’a International Airport and three ports along the western coast.

Houthi rebels in Yemen said Israeli airstrikes on Thursday targeted the rebel-held capital of Sanaa and the port city of Hodeida, following several days of Houthi launches setting off sirens in Israel.

U.S. was apprised in advance of the retaliatory strike against the Iran-backed terrorist group that's been firing rockets at Israel for the past 14 months.

The Israeli Air Force has struck Sana'a International Airport in Yemen's capital, controlled by the Houthis, Yemeni media outlet Brranpress reports. In turn, the Yemeni media outlet YPA reports that US and Israeli warplanes are striking different parts of Yemen.

Multiple air raids have hit several targets in rebel-held areas of Yemen, witnesses and the Iran-backed Houthi rebels said, with their media saying Israel launched the strikes.
