World Juniors are officially underway. The annual IIHF tournament is a chance for the best U20 prospects from around the globe to compete on the biggest stage of their young playing careers while also representing their country.

It’s time for the knockout stages in the annual post-holiday tournament featuring the best young talent in hockey, as teams now look to advance to the semifinals at the 2025 IIHF Men’s World Junior Championship.

World Junior Championships kicked off on Thursday, December 26, and are set to run through Sunday, January 5. This year, the tournament is being held in Ottawa, giving Canada the advantage of home ice as they aim to rebound from a disappointing fifth-place finish in the previous tournament.
