The EPA administrator says he is rolling back dozens of environmental rules, including those crucial to California programs on climate change and electric vehicles, and closing offices that worked to lower pollution in poor communities.

Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin on Wednesday outlined plans for an aggressive rollback of environmental regulations.

In all, Lee Zeldin said he is rolling back 31 environmental rules, including a scientific finding that has long been the central basis for U.S. action against climate change.
