The Chicago Cubs may not have made a big splash at the trade deadline, after missing out on Eugenio Suarez and failing to acquire another starting pitcher other than Mike Soroka. According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic,

The Cubs made a bullpen move in the final day of the MLB trade deadlines, landing pitcher Taylor Rogers from the Pirates.

Relief pitcher Taylor Rogers was a Pittsburgh Pirate for one day, but has now reportedly been dealt to the Chicago Cubs.
