Dexter was a tropical storm in the North Atlantic Ocean late Sunday Eastern time, the National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory. Dexter is the fourth named storm to form in the Atlantic in 2025. It was not expected to be an immediate threat to land.

Hurricane Gil weakened into a tropical storm in the eastern Pacific Ocean on Saturday, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center. It was not forecast to threaten land. The Miami-based U.S. National Hurricane Center said the storm’s maximum sustained winds dropped to 65 mph.

The short-handed Indiana Fever hit the road for Seattle and a nationally televised Sunday afternoon showdown with the Storm.

After trailing for the entirety of the second half Sunday, the Storm nearly pulled off the comeback before falling to the Indiana Fever, who were again without Caitlin Clark.
