At least five people were killed and one woman was injured in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv overnight as a result of a Russian drone attack, Governor Vitalii Kim said on Telegram early on Monday.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said its air defense systems intercepted 70 Ukrainian drones over six regions, including 34 over the Moscow region.

Ukraine launched a drone attack on a Russian chemical plant in the western city of Tula overnight on Friday into Saturday, according to the country’s security service. Russian authorities have not acknowledged the attack.
