With Legally Blonde 3 reportedly in the works, a new television installment to the iconic franchise will soon be hitting our screens, too. Teaming up with Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine production company, Amazon MGM Studios is working on a new prequel series that will focus on Elle Woods’s high school days.

Elle Woods is bubbly, hyper, intelligent, gorgeous and loves pink. Reese Witherspoon is all those things as well, and it would appear Lexi Minetree, the actress set to play the iconic Legally Blonde character in the prequel series Elle, is too.

Last year it was announced that Amazon had granted a series order to a Legally Blonde prequel series from Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine production company, and now comes word that Lexi Minetree (The Murdaugh Murders) is set to portray a young Elle Woods in Prime Video’s Elle.
