After surrendering a three run lead in the top of the ninth, the Phillies rallied, thanks to a Johan Rojas sacrifice fly and Stott stealing home base on a wild Kyle Finnegan splitter.

The Nationals-Phillies game heading into Tuesday night looked like it would be a good one. After all, it was pitting Nationals up-and-coming ace MacKenzie Gore against Phillies veteran and workhorse ace Zack Wheeler. It would end up with a wild ending that made most people forget about the starters.

Bryson Stott scored on a wild pitch with two outs in the ninth to cap a zany final inning, and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Washington Nationals 7-6.
