Fans were bummed out after it was revealed that the Philadelphia Eagles have decided to rest key players, including running back Saquon Barkley, in their game against the New York Giants in Week 18. The decision was made despite Barkley being just 101 yards shy of setting the new single-season rushing record.

Barkley is just 101 rushing yards shy of breaking the single-season record of 2,105 yards on the ground that Eric Dickerson set during the 1984 campaign.
