The trio of Ed Delahanty, Billy Hamilton, and Sam Thompson are the only outfield in history in which each player batted over .400. On Thursday the trio will be recognized at Citizens Bank Park.

The only outfield in major league history where all three players batted .400 in the same season will be honored in the same way as the Philadelphia Phillies players whose numbers have been retired.
