ROLAND GARROS, PARIS — Coco Gauff is heading back to the French Open final. She booked her spot in a No. 2 vs. No. 1 showdown against Aryna Sablenka with a commanding win over Loïs Boisson, the French wild card who had become the toast of the tournament.

Coco Gauff has turned to an old trick with the French Open crowd loudly singing her French opponent's name. Gauff pretended Thursday they were chanting “Coco!”

The story of the 2025 French Open on the women's side has been Lois Boisson, as the wild card entered the tournament ranked 362nd in the world but has gone on a storybook run to become the first French woman since Marion Bartoli to reach the semifinals at Roland-Garros.
