The longtime star of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” is a brilliant crime-solving maid in this new ABC procedural.

The wait for Fall TV is finally over, which means we've got an influx of series hitting the small screen, including a new crop of procedurals. On ABC, that means "High Potential," the comedic crime procedural from "The Martian" and "Daredevil" writer Drew Goddard.

Based on the French television series HPI - Haut Potentiel Intellectuel, ABC’s High Potential stars and is produced by Kaitlin Olson of It’s Always Sunny. She plays a single mom hiding her high IQ behind a low-wage job and a vibrant wardrobe until the police recruit her to help solve challenging cases.

Kaitlin Olson, who spent her early years in Oregon, is known for her roles in such projects as "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "Hacks," for which she recently earned an Emmy nomination.

Spoilers ahead for the series premiere of High Potential on ABC. Kaitlin Olson is best known for playing Sweet Dee on FXX's It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for the better part of two decades, but she has a brand new project in the 2024 TV schedule before It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Season 17 is ready in the 2025 TV schedule.

Olson leads the new ABC crime show High Potential, which premieres on the network on Tuesday, September 17, at 10 pm ET/PT. Based on the French TV show HPI, High Potential follows Morgan, a cleaning lady with an IQ of more than 160 who uses her knowledge and insights to help the Los Angeles Police Department solve cases.
