Jasmine Crockett is speaking out after hundreds of Texas voters were turned away from polling places in Dallas County due to a Republican-led decision that caused confusion on Election Day.

The congresswoman, who has established herself as a firebrand among fellow Democratic leaders, is looking to get on the ballot for Senate in November.

The numbers from early voting show 1.4 million voters cast ballots in the Democratic primary battle between U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett, known for her viral clap-backs aimed at Republicans, and state Rep. James Talarico, a rising star courting moderates with a populist-minded message.
