The IMD has forecast further showers in the city due to a Western disturbance interacting with easterly winds.

The weather department has issued an orange alert for heavy snowfall and cold waves in Himachal Pradesh on December 28. Six districts—Lahaul-Spiti, Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Shimla, and Kinnaur—experienced heavy rainfall and snowfall.
