The Indian fast bowler won the ICC’s award for men’s cricketer of the year for his performances in both the red-ball and white-ball format in 2024.

NEW DELHI (ANI)- Indian pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah has been honoured as the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024, following his finest-ever performance in the red-ball format, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Jasprit Bumrah was named the ICC Men's Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024 after the India pace spearhead produced his best annual haul in the red-ball format, the sport's governing body said on Monday.

Trisha became the first batter to hit a century at an ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, requiring just 53 balls to bring up three figures in Kuala Lumpur before finishing on 110 not out. She formed a commanding partnership with G Kamalini, who also brought up a half-century, to put India in complete control of the contest.

Opener Gongadi Trisha of India became the first person in the history of the Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup to hit a century. Her 59-ball unbeaten 110 in the process helped the defending champions trounce Scotland in their Group 1 Super Six game in Kuala Lumpur.
