FEMA extends public assistance deadline for North Carolinians impacted by Helene
RALEIGH, N.C. (WITN) - FEMA has granted North Carolina local governments and certain nonprofits an extension to apply for public assistance to help with Helene recovery. The extension is now until February 6, 2025, and comes at Governor Roy Cooper’s request.
