A solid eight-game stretch hit a snag Monday night after the Sky’s leading scorer and top defender left with a leg injury.

Angel Reese had a tough matchup on Monday as the Chicago Sky hosted the Minnesota Lynx at Wintrust Arena. Reese went toe-to-toe against one of the top players in the WNBA today, Napheesa Collier, who is also currently the frontrunner for the Most Valuable Player title.

Chicago was in the sky after their first win against the Minnesota Lynx since 2023, as they went hard at Sky with playful online trolling towards the Lynx, referencing an old quote from Courtney Williams.

The Chicago Sky are looking to get back in the win column after falling to the Minnesota Lynx on Monday night. It has been a difficult start to the season for Chicago under first-year head coach Tyler Marsh, as the team now sits at 7-14 on the season which ranks second-to-last in the Eastern Conference standings.
