Police in Atlanta say the suspect is dead after a shooting near Emory University and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention headquarters.

According to GBI, Patrick Joseph White fired 500 shots with nearly 200 hitting buildings at the CDC. Documents have been found referencing COVID-19 vaccine. Guns belonged to father and were secured, but White was able to take them.
The union is requesting teleworking arrangements until the Roybal campus is fully repaired from the damage caused by the attack.
