A man was arrested Wednesday afternoon after trying to enter the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center with a machete and knives during the Jimmy Carter casket viewing.

Police said the man was arrested at a security checkpoint for people waiting to view former President Jimmy Carter's casket as he lies in state in the Capitol Rotunda.
