Early defense powers MSU women's basketball over Cal Poly
Guards Mary Carter and Annika Shah both led the Mustangs with 13 points. MSU overall shot 44.6% and 8 of 32 from behind the arc, while holding Cal Poly to 38.6% shooting, including 7 of 16 from 3-point range.
