NEW YORK -- Three people are dead and eight others are wounded after a shooting at a New York City lounge early Sunday, police officials said. The shooting happened just before 3:30 a.m. local time inside the Taste of the City lounge in Crown Heights, Brooklyn at 903 Franklin Avenue.
City officials said they’re bracing for potential retaliation after a mass shooting left three dead and nine others wounded at a Brooklyn hookah bar early Sunday morning. Mayor Eric Adams said the city’s crisis management teams have already been mobilized in Crown Heights to work with victims' families and help prevent further violence.
