MINNEAPOLIS — Poor air quality in the Twin Cities due to Canadian wildfire smoke has caused the KARE 11 Weather team to issue a Weather Impact Alert. The alert is in effect now and will continue until 7 a.m. on Sunday.
Unhealthy air quality is forecast, with periods of Very Unhealthy air quality possible for several hours. Folks should expect to see and smell smoke, and Air Quality Alerts are in effect. Conditions will improve slightly tonight through Sunday.
