Thousands of "No Kings Day" protests are set to be held throughout the country on Saturday to protest the Trump administration.

Protests against President Donald Trump ’s administration were held across New Jersey on a rainy Saturday — part of nationwide “No Kings Day” demonstrations coinciding with the president’s 79th birthday and a large military parade in Washington, D.C.

Up to 300 gathered along State Road 100 and Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast. Another protest was held near Old Kings Road.

A 33-mile trip from one protest in Annapolis, Md., to the parade grandstand in front of the White House was like a journey between two different countries.

Millions of people across the country are expected to join in protest this weekend against Donald Trump’s administration, a movement intended to coincide with the president’s planned military parade in Washington — and the commander-in-chief’s 79th birthday.

A bystander was fatally shot after security members at the demonstration confronted a man who was running toward the crowd with an AR-15-style rifle, the police said.

New York City officials are outlining safety plans Friday as they prepare to secure protests expected to pop up in the five boroughs as part of a national No Kings day of action against the Trump administration.

On "No Kings" day, thousands of protests are set to take place across the United States on June 14 in response to the Trump administration’s policies.

The No Kings events come after days of protests following raids by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Los Angeles, and Trump’s subsequent deployment of thousands of National Guard and U.S. Marines troops to “temporarily protect” ICE and other federal personnel, along with federal property.

In Los Angeles, 38 people were arrested downtown on Saturday night, police said Sunday. In Huntington Beach, police arrested a convicted felon they said had a loaded handgun.
