A Massachusetts jury began its second full day of deliberations in the second murder trial of Karen Read, the woman accused of hitting her police officer boyfriend with her SUV and leaving him for dead in 2022.

Jurors in the Karen Read trial are deliberating for a third day after failing to reach a verdict after nine hours over the first two days inside Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham, Massachusetts.

Jury deliberations are continuing for another day in the trial of Karen Read for the murder of her police officer boyfriend. Read's first trial ended in a mistral after the jury could not reach a verdict.
