Matheus Cunha has admitted Ruben Amorim played an important part in his decision to join Manchester United. United triggered the £62.5million release clause in Cunha's contract at Molineux and the forward was officially unveiled on Thursday afternoon after having his visa approved.

United activated Cunha’s release clause at Wolves on 1 June, while De Bruyne’s move had been widely anticipated.

Manchester United have officially announced the signing of Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a five-year contract, with the option of a further 12 months.
