Someone put that they were advised not to go on the beach after dark - can anyone explain why? Are there dangerous tides or is there a crime risk? We are looking for somewhere to view sunrise/sunset.

We have never felt unsafe, no matter when we visited.
We have a group of 6 adults who will be visiting on September 3rd to celebrate our 60th birthdays. My husband is in a wheelchair. Do they have access to the beach, or do you have chairs available that can get through the sand. In another words, can we spend time on the beach as a group?
