Totally take them there! While they may not stand and read each exhibit, at least they will see cool animals and bones and real live snakes! Maybe you won't stay as long but the museum is pretty kid-friendly. When I was there in January, it wasn't very crowded, so don't worry whether it will disturb others. Depending upon how much time you have, you may also want to take them to the Prairie Park Nature Center -- also has trails and a lake which are good for boys with energy, especially if the weather's nice and they need outdoor time.
