It can be used as a private stay for one to seven guests. The flawless wood of this structure was harvested from Southeast, Alaska. Icy Straits Lumber & Milling Inc. harvested and milled the timber locally. This fine company further aided in the construction of the cabin with their team of first-rate craftsmen. Hoonah, Alaska is a small community located in Port Frederick (accessed by Icy Strait), on Chichagof Island. The culture of Hoonah is deeply rooted in its Alaska Native people and traditions. This sleepy community has in recent years grown with the addition of a port for commercial cruise liners. Point Sophia is a renovated cannery which serves as a stop for cruise ships, touring the inside passage.
