Since 1985, over $4 million has passed through the Baton Rouge State Fair Foundation back into the community. We have a nearly 60-year history of funding community service projects and promoting enrichment opportunities for the children and youth of the Baton Rouge area. Our donations go to both those in need and those with exceptional achievements. They take three forms: Worthy Cause Grants: for children and youth-centered nonprofits. Volunteer Awards: for community-oriented Baton Rouge teens. Endowed Scholarships: to honor our long-time volunteers. Our mission is to create and improve opportunities for worthy individuals in the Baton Rouge area. Just by attending the Greater Baton Rouge State Fair, like-minded community members can join us in that mission.
